The battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Hagersville was named Innovative Canadian Clean Power Project of the Year by the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA)

Launch of several initiatives to achieve our greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)

Development of a biodiversity charter and a biodiversity booklet in France to structure, formalize, strengthen, and showcase our biodiversity commitments

Construction of our first wind farm in Scotland, Limekiln, with a subcontractor and a manufacturer with SBTi-validated emissions targets, making the project a three-way partnership actively committed to a net-zero pathway

Integration of our subcontractors into health and safety performance monitoring to continue building a safe and responsible organization

Silver Parity Certification awarded by Women in Governance, recognizing our commitment to advancing gender equality in our governance and to continuing to build a more inclusive organization

Silver European Solar Diversity Champion Award won by Boralex in France, recognizing our inclusive practices

Launch of a pilot project in France known as « L’énergie prime par Boralex », to help communities near our wind and solar farms reduce their energy bills

98% of our employees and board members have completed the annual ethics training

100% of strategic component purchases were made through key suppliers that have signed our Responsible Procurement Charter.

100% of employees in the procurement, risk management, CSR and legal teams have completed training on the prevention of forced labour and child labour in supply chains or on responsible sourcing, by January 2026 at the latest

Boralex was named the top company in Corporate Knights’ annual Best 50 Corporate Citizens’ 2025 ranking in Canada.
