Forestville hydro power plant

Built in 1954 and renovated in the 1990s, Forestville hydroelectric installations are located at the point of contact between the Saint-Laurent and the Sault aux Cochons Rivers (Côte-Nord region). Thanks to its 12 MW total installed capacity, the dam supplies nearly 3,000 people annually in electricity.
