Details of the Soleil de Saint-Germain Project

The Soleil de Saint-Germain photovoltaic project is located in Saint-Germain-Laprade, in Haute-Loire, on the industrial site of the company Fareva la Vallée. It is entirely situated on parcelled land owned by the company. The study area covers 37.5 hectares and fits within an already fenced area of 35.77 hectares.

With a planned capacity of 24 MWp, the future ground-mounted solar farm will generate approximately 33,000 MWh annually, equivalent to the electricity consumption of around 15,000* people.

The solar farm will feature more than 38,000 solar panels installed on adjustable tables designed to follow the sun’s path from east to west.
