About the Fond de Plaine Wind Farm
The Fond de Plaine wind farm is located in the municipality of Luc-sur-Orbieu, in the Aude department (11). Commissioned in 2007, it consists of 2 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 4 MW.
This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 4,000* residents. Thanks to this installation, nearly 390* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
