On December 1st, 2020, Patrick Decostre became President and Chief Executif Officer of Boralex, after dedicating nearly 18 years to establishing a strong foundation for the company in Europe, where he was its first employee. He moved to Montreal with his family to take on a role that allows him to combine his European expertise with the company’s Quebec and North American roots.
An engineer by training and holder of a master’s degree in management, Patrick is quickly recognized for his deep understanding of the energy sector, his strategic vision, and his expertise in development.
Inspired by the diversity of his collaborators, regardless of their area of expertise, Patrick is a visionary with remarkable open-mindedness. He promotes a culture of inclusive leadership, where ideas emerge from open discussions and debates, and where collaboration brings an ambition business strategy to life, fueled by the contribution of all the talents within the organization.
