Nadia Martel

Nadia Martel is a visionary with a wealth of experience in governance and strategic leadership. Her career has given her unique insight into what makes businesses tick, and she is widely respected for her ability to implement and influence future-oriented corporate strategies. She has made it a point to continuously update her knowledge and skills over the years.  

Nadia is known for her innovative mindset, her commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and her high-level knowledge of capital markets and financial disclosure. This has enabled her to bring numerous financing deals to fruition and establish agile yet robust governance structures. She has also led several acquisition programs and engaged in strategic negotiations for the companies she had worked with.   

She played a key role in the IPOs of ART Advanced Research Technologies in 2000 and BRP in 2013. She has also implemented governance policies as well as global compliance and ethics programs in various organizations to ensure adherence to all legal requirements while creating value.   

Leveraging her management expertise, she successfully led the rollout of a forward-looking enterprise risk management program at BRP. This included quarterly reporting to an investment and risk management committee, which helped ensure transparency and a proactive approach.  

Nadia has over 25 years of experience leading and overseeing the strategic management of innovative businesses. She has contributed significantly to the success of numerous publicly traded and private companies.
