André Courville

André Courville is driven by the desire to share what he has learned over time to benefit Quebec-based companies operating both locally and internationally. With a career spanning some 30 years at Ernst & Young (now EY), André has extensive experience handling corporate sales and purchases for clients of international standing. He strives for excellence in everything he undertakes, from tackling organizational restructuring or creating a new business unit, to overseeing a corporate merger or acquisition. 

André is a globetrotter who has visited over 60 countries, both for business and pleasure. Through his travels, he has forged close ties with, and learned valuable lessons about, divers peoples and cultures, which he ably translates to human resources management. A staunch believer in the importance of nurturing and supporting talent, he feels that corporations must encourage employee's growth and development to maximize their value. This legacy stems from his varied experiences with the same organization across multiple geographies, as well as his years of service at EY and with its clients, where he was responsible for up to 5,000 employees. 

André brings to Boralex a wealth of knowledge to help the company evolve and adapt its strategy, so that it can achieve steady growth and join the ranks of the world’s leading players in renewable energy.
